Connect WhatsApp Business

Connect your WhatsApp Business account to AchieveApex and start managing your WhatsApp conversations.

Note: This tutorial assumes you already have a WhatsApp Business account set up. If you don't, please create a WhatsApp Business account first.

Prerequisites

  • A Meta Business Account
  • A WhatsApp Business Account
  • Admin access to your Meta Business Manager
  • An active AchieveApex organization

Step 1: Access Channel Settings

Navigate to your organization's settings by clicking on the settings icon in the main navigation menu. Then select "Channel Integrations" from the sidebar.

Step 2: Connect WhatsApp

In the Channel Integrations page, locate the WhatsApp section and click the "Connect WhatsApp" button. This will start the connection process.

Step 3: Authenticate with Meta

You'll be redirected to Meta's authentication page. Log in to your Meta account that has access to your WhatsApp Business account and grant the necessary permissions.

Important: Make sure you log in with an account that has admin access to the Meta Business Manager account that contains your WhatsApp Business account.

Step 4: Select WhatsApp Business Account

After authenticating, you'll be asked to select the WhatsApp Business account you want to connect. Choose the appropriate account from the list.

Step 5: Select Phone Number

Next, select the phone number associated with your WhatsApp Business account that you want to use for messaging.

Step 6: Confirm Integration

Review the permissions requested by AchieveApex and click "Confirm" to complete the integration. Once confirmed, you'll be redirected back to AchieveApex.

Step 7: Verify Connection

Back in AchieveApex, you should see your WhatsApp Business account listed as connected in the Channel Integrations page. The status indicator should show "Active".

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Connection Failed

If your connection attempt fails, try the following:

  • Ensure you're using an account with admin access to your Meta Business Manager
  • Check that your WhatsApp Business account is properly set up and active
  • Clear your browser cache and try again

Account Not Listed

If your WhatsApp Business account isn't listed:

  • Verify that your Meta account has access to the Business Manager that contains your WhatsApp Business account
  • Ensure your WhatsApp Business account is properly set up
  • Try logging out and back in to Meta

Connection Shows "Error" Status

If your connection shows an error status:

  • Check the error message for specific details
  • Verify that your permissions are still valid in Meta Business Manager
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the channel
